Wayne Gretzky's recent comments on MSG Network clearly indicate that The Great One is in no rush to return to an ice job.
In an interview with MSG's Al Trautwig, Gretzky admits he's content watching his kids grow as athletes. Wayne took in a Penguins-Rangers game last week from an MSG ice-side seat alongside his still gorgeous wife Janet.
Who knows, maybe there's a job for Wayne at the NHL alongside Brendan Shanahan? Wayne and Janet reportedly are shopping for a luxury apartment within a mile or two of the NHL headquarters. Coincidence, or what?
- A concussion sidelined Chris Drury for five games, and the time away from the ice gave the Rangers captain time to evaluate his game.
"I was able to learn from watching our team, watching our guys," says Drury. "When I get in trouble and I'm not playing my best is when I'm too much in a hurry. Just trying to do too much. I get in the defensive zone and help out and I miss my coverage."
Drury has three assists in the five games since his return to action.
